Visegrad Insight – The latest polls show rapidly growing support for the euro in the Czech Republic, and high levels of support in nearby Hungary. As the hardships of the pandemic continue to bite, old scepticisms about the single currency are being eroded, raising the possibility that two of the EU’s most individualist nations could soon make their first firm steps towards joining the euro.
