The Telegraph – In the Czech Republic, lockdown restrictions are challenged by lawyers. Why not in the UK?

The Telegraph – The Czech courts have played a vital role in scrutinising Covid measures, ensuring proportionality and holding the government to account throughout the pandemic. In the UK, on the other hand, the courts have shown remarkably little interest in questioning restrictions imposed by the government. As lockdown easing threatens to be postponed in Britain, the country should take note of the Czech emphasis on justification for restrictions.
